Since 1991, the HBIF, a statewide economic development nonprofit organization, has provided professional bilingual assistance to Hispanic entrepreneurs in Florida. As it celebrates its 25th anniversary, the organization will be launching a new brand to position itself for the future, to more effectively connect and communicate with clients and supporters. Its services – including consulting, business seminars in Spanish, loan facilitation and entrepreneurial grants – are delivered free to clients thanks to private and public sponsors. HBIF has helped create and retain over 12,000 jobs across Florida by helping Hispanic-owned businesses start and grow.
