A dynamic business development executive with over two decades of progressive success, Cynthia’s experience equips her with the necessary knowledge for her to be a foundational catalyst for aggressive growth. In 2009, Cynthia embarked upon the formation of BlackRain Partners, a growth-consulting firm offering a multi-pronged approach to sustainable growth. Leveraging expertise in business development, financial management, human resources and organizational development, BlackRain Partners doubled in gross revenue within the first two years, was recognized as Women Owned Business of the Year by the Seminole County Regional Chamber of Commerce in 2011 and recognized as a finalist for the Don Quijote small business under five years award.
Known for her community leadership and strong business acumen, Cynthia has consistently demonstrated her ability to build long-term relationships by nurturing and influencing business growth – RainMaking. Her extensive list of notable accomplishments includes:
Cynthia’s business development leadership expertise supported the growth of a full-service I.T. consulting firm from $425,000 in annual gross revenue to just under $2 million within a two year period. The guidance and model created supports the continued success of the firm today.
Her passion for facilitating the growth of nonprofits is evident in the growth of two established nonprofits providing services in Central Florida. BlackRain Partners successfully helped these organizations to yield a significant increase in revenue raised from their annual fundraising events, with an increase in the level of community leaders as attendees.
Inspired by her faith and family, community engagement continues to be a focus for Cynthia. She is involved with over 25 local organizations, including Leadership Seminole, Hispanic Chamber, NAWBO and Kids House of Seminole, to name but a few.
