On Wednesday, July 22, 2015 Jim Seneff and the Seneff Family Foundation were recognized with a plaza dedication by the Central Florida Council, Boy Scouts of America.  A new brick plaza and flagpoles were added to the beautiful Camp La-No-Che to commemorate the leadership Seneff provided to the Faces of the Future Capital Campaign and kick starting the campaign with a gift of $1 million. This camp is home to more than 4,000 youth and adults each summer and more than 10,000 in the fall.  Open year-round, the 1,600 acre property provides an educational outdoor experience for all ages.

“It is through the leadership and support of individuals in our community that makes scouting possible for so many.  Jim is an unwavering pillar in this community, and we are so appreciative to him and his family for their continued support. With his gift, he paved the way for others, and we are pleased to recognize him with our new Seneff Family Plaza at Camp La-No-Che,” commented Ron Oats, Central Florida Council executive director.

The Central Florida Council serves over 23,000 Scouts across seven counties: Brevard, Flagler, Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia. The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral decisions over their lifetime by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath & Law.
