OrlandoiX Announces Its Keynote Speakers

OrlandoiX, an international digital festival to be held in Orlando, Fla. on Oct. 2 – 6, 2015, announced today its keynote speakers: Michelle McKenna-Doyle, Senior Vice President and CIO at the National Football League; Kimberly Gnatt, Global Group Director, Digital Marketing at The Coca-Cola Company; Jim Stikeleather, Chief Innovation Officer at Dell; Matthew Knell, VP of Social Media & Community at About.com; Ted Murphy, Founder, Chairman and CEO at IZEA; and Bob Allen, Chief Storytelling Officer at IDEAS. These six individuals are among the world’s leading creative technologists and will divulge their discoveries, ideas and breakthroughs at the inaugural event. Additional speakers will be announced in the weeks to come.

MICHELLE McKENNA-DOYLE
 Senior Vice President & CIO at the National Football League

michelle-mckenna-doyleMichelle McKenna-Doyle is Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of the National Football League. She is responsible for the NFL’s technology strategy, shared service delivery and management of the league’s corporate technology activities. Michelle joined the NFL from Constellation Energy in Baltimore, Md. where she was also CIO. Prior to Constellation Energy, she was President of Vision Interactive Media Group, where she was responsible for marketing, technology, business development, operations and finance. Michelle also has extensive experience in the media and entertainment industry as SVP and CIO at Universal Orlando Resort. In that role, she was responsible for the oversight of technology at Universal Orlando Resort, including the launch of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. She also served as SVP and CIO for Centex Destination Properties. In her 13-year career with The Walt Disney Company, she held a variety of executive positions in resort development, finance, marketing, operations and technology.

KIMBERLY GNATT
 Global Group Director, Digital Marketing at The Coca-Cola Company

With roots in media planning, direct marketing and ecommerce, Kim focuses on the power of data to help brands get epic returns on their digital investments. She is instrumental in leading teams that marry technologies with digital marketing experiences to grow and retain brand ambassadors, including management of one of the nation’s largest loyalty programs, My Coke Rewards.

JIM STIKELEATHER 
Chief Innovation Officer at Dell

Organizations worldwide rely on Jim for guidance on digital infrastructures, evaluation of emerging technologies and strategic guidance on their application. He participates in international technology standards bodies, has multiple book and industry-article contributions to his credit, and advises a number of technology incubators. Jim’s leadership experience includes technology start-ups and turnarounds as well as the information technology departments within large global enterprises. Jim came to Dell via Perot Systems, where he was a founder of the Technical Resource Connection, which was acquired by Perot Systems in 1996. Currently, Jim serves as Chief Innovation Officer for Dell Services, the approximately $8 billion IT services arm of Dell, where he leads a team of information technology and business experts who identify, evaluate and assess the future potential of new technologies, business models and processes to address evolving business, economic and social trends for the company and customers.

MATTHEW KNELL
 VP of Social Media & Community at About.com

matthew-knellMatthew Knell is a social media strategist and marketer, web technologist and community evangelist with a long history designing, developing and marketing a wide array of successful online products for major brands including JetBlue Airways, MTV Networks and AOL. Currently, he is the Vice President of Social Media & Community at About.com and teaches social media and internet marketing at NYU’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies. He serves as the first Tech Mentor in Residence at Pace University‘s Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems.

He has been featured in Advertising Age, TechCrunch, AllThingsD, PR Week, Fast Company, the New York Observer, eConsultancy, Consumerist, Mashable and Huffington Post Tech, as well as presented at various events including BlogWorld Expo, SocialFresh, BarCamp, Interwoven’s Gear Up user conference and TEDx in New York City.

TED MURPHY

BOB ALLEN
 Chief Storytelling Officer at IDEAS

bob-allenBob Allen is Chief Storytelling Officer and Principal Executive of IDEAS, a multi-million dollar company dedicated to helping organizations create and communicate their story to their employees, clients and guests via multiple platforms ranging from digital media, entertainment, learning and film. Bob began his career in the entertainment industry as a musician at the age of 16. After graduating from college, he spent 26 years with The Walt Disney Company, creating live entertainment and theme park experiences, learning programs, and media. In 1991, he became Vice President of Disney Production Services, Inc., where he was responsible for all facilities and services at the Disney-MGM Studios as well as the operation of Disney IDEAS (Innovation, Design, Entertainment, Art and Storytelling), a full-service integrated creative content studio. In July of 2001, he formed Integrity Arts and Technology Inc., and completed a management buyout of IDEAS. The buyout allowed IDEAS to retain Disney as a client while broadening its market scope and facilitating the creation of original story-based content for converged media uses. Today, IDEAS uses the power of purposeful storytelling and “design thinking” to create brands, produce media, transform organizational culture, and design and enhance immersive experiences in the location-based entertainment, hospitality and healthcare industries.
